As I was walking past, this scene caught my attention with the beautiful dappled sunlight and the misty mountains in the distance. There were other people walking past me on the trail behind me, but no one seemed to notice this hidden gem. That was fine with me, because I got to enjoy this moment of serenity all to myself.
I captured this serene image in Caesars Head State Park, in South Carolina.
