Artist's Description
Located in Bucks County Pennsylvania, Fallsington is an authentic 300-year-old Quaker settlement. This village pre-dates other Friends (Quakers are often referred to as Friends) historic districts by at least 50 years, and it is an excellent example of authentic pre-colonial life in America. This is the Schoolmaster' House, which was originally built in 1758 to attract a Schoolmaster for the Fallsington Friends Meetinghouse.
In 1971, the Village of Fallsington was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
