Artist's Description
I drive by Olde St Andrew Church almost everyday. It's a beautiful church during the day, but it's the way it's lit at night that really grabs my attention. I took this image just after sundown.
The brownstone single tower neo-Gothic structure, completed in 1880, was built on South Sycamore Street, in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was dedicated to Saint Andrew.
The Friends of the Olde Church of Saint Andrew was formed in 1986 to raise funds for the preservation and restoration of the Olde Church. In 2001 a total renovation was completed to the Historic Board’s specifications.
