Artist's Description
This is a watercolor painting of a Cross on a stone wall. I had been invited by a friend to attend their church, and this was the Cross hanging behind the Baptismal...I found it striking and felt compelled to paint it. It is a large watercolor painting and took me one month to complete it...it was a labor of love.
Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion.
The Lord has done everything possible to give us the gift of salvation, but we must accept it by reaching out and inviting Him to come into our lives. If you have never done so, accept God’s gift to you by repenting of your sins and turning to Jesus and asking Him to be Lord of your life.
