Furman University is known for its beautiful campus. This is the nineteenth-century iron gazebo that adorns the Janie Earle Furman Rose Garden, which features 21 varieties of roses. It's the end of October now, but I'll be back in the summer to see these beauties in full bloom.
Furman University is one of South Carolina’s oldest colleges, it was founded in 1826. The school was named for Reverend Richard Furman, a prominent Baptist minister who was responsible for the establishment of the college.
