Description
Two White Ibis birds with long, curved beaks stand near the edge of a calm, reflective body of water. Spanish Moss-draped trees and old stone tombstones suggest the peaceful, historical setting of the Magnolia Cemetery. It is located in Charleston, South Carolina.
This cemetery makes a perfect wetland habitat for the Ibis, which are wading birds and prefer marsh type areas. Magnolia Cemetery is a 128 acre burial site, which includes 2 lagoons and marshes. To get this image, I had to sneak up between the headstones and take this shot with my iPhone.
This Image is available as Greeting Cards, as Art Prints of various types & sizes, and as assorted Home Decor items. It also makes a great gift! If you are choosing a framed print, be sure to browse through the frame and matting options to arrive at your perfect combination. Often using two mats, a top mat and a bottom mat that has a contrasting color, brings out the colors in the print and compliments the scene.
