Peddlers Village, in Bucks County Pennsylvania, had their annual Scarecrow Contest this past weekend. I arrived very early in the morning, while the outside vendors were still setting-up.
There were many scarecrows set-up all over the Village, but this one of Benjamin Franklin and the flags really caught my attention. Larger than life-size and extremely detailed, from his period costume down to his scroll of Benjamin Franklin Quotes, this scarecrow was very well done!
Benjamin Franklin was a signer of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, Franklin is considered one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.
